I've tried to make it work on my 2.6 C2D 10.5.7 but it won't. The developer's suggestion was to download the latest version from their link but it made no difference. Firefox rejects the swfcatcher.xpi : "Sothink SWF Catcher" will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates" I've tried the fix suggested on the Sothink site but to no avail. I can't be the only person having this problem. Sothink need to rethink and produce something that installs effortlessly and works on a mac. If I wanted this kind of hassle I'd be using a PC.

Useless. Decompiles SWFs into FLAs with nameless movieclips, and external .as files. The .as files can't find the movieclips so you wind up with a list of cryptic errors in your output panel. For example, working with a SWF I have complete knowledge of, the app decompiled into 4 Graphic symbols it named "shape"1,2,3,etc and 4 movieclips it named "sprite" 1,2,3,etc. It also revealed a folder with 2 .as files. The actual FLA contained 13 movie clips, 2 bitmaps and no external .as. Very disappointing.

Just tried the demo and it's painfully slow to launch. And once it does, it just hangs...

What does the acronym FLA stand for? Why not define it, at least once, in your description of the software? S.W.F. is probably Shock Wave Flash, and why not reveal the long definition at least once? OK, it converts files from the S.W.F. format to the F.L.A. format; WHY is it desirable to do that? I've been macking for a long time, and still don't know all the acronyms; developers, why not indicate the long definition of the acronyms at least once in your descriptions? Too hard to do?
